These puzzles are tuned for grown-up solvers: a larger grid, longer words and every direction in play, including diagonals and backwards. It is the same free game, set to Hard by default, so you can start solving straight away.
Prefer something gentler? Switch the difficulty to Medium or Easy at any time. Many adults enjoy word searches as a relaxing evening activity, a coffee-break brain warm-up or a calm screen break between tasks.
Tips for solving hard word searches
Scan for rare letters first — Q, X, Z, J and K appear in fewer words and give you a strong starting point. Then look for word endings such as -ING or -TION, and remember that any word can be written backwards or diagonally. Use the three hints sparingly; each costs 25 points.
